Join us all summer long for these signature High Rock Lake Festivities:

4^th of July Fireworks: Celebrate Independence Day with an astonishing fireworks show over the lake and the Annual Dock Decorating Contest. Enjoy the vibrant display of colors and patterns illuminating the night sky while floating in the relaxing water and creating unforgettable memories.

10^th Annual Dragon Boat Festival: On Saturday, July 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Shrine Club, the largest annual event on High Rock Lake will take place. Participate in the race, cheer on your local peers, shop the vendors, and enjoy a day of good food, exciting entertainment, and lots of fun.

Float the Goat: Cruise over to Goat Island, where a live band plays from a floating dock atop High Rock Lake’s tranquil waters. Unwind to the music, bask in the warmth of the sun, and immerse yourself in the friendly embrace of our community.

High Rock Lake Clean Sweep: On Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. join fellow volunteers in enhancing the beauty of High Rock Lake. Come out by boat or via land and help Rowan County, NC beat its record of removing 2.12 tons of trash from the lake.
