Complete Well-Care Source Invests $14.5 Million in New Spencer Facility and Job Growth
Complete Well-Care Source, L.L.C., a leading provider of mental health, behavioral health, and home healthcare services, has announced a major expansion in Rowan County that will bring 501 new jobs over the next five years, including 125 positions in the first two years. The company will invest $14.5 million to construct a new 30,000-square-foot treatment facility and corporate headquarters at 1230 Long Ferry Road in Spencer.
The expansion strengthens an already significant local presence. The company, which was established in 2019, currently employs 48 full-time workers in Rowan County and other locations across North Carolina. Operations at the new facility are expected to begin in 2027.
“My life’s work is dedicated to delivering much-needed services to the underserved communities of North Carolina,” said Myra V. Wilson, owner of Complete Well-Care Source, L.L.C. “This project is an important step forward for our mission, and it would not have been possible without the support of the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the Rowan County Board of Commissioners, and the Rowan EDC.”
Spencer Mayor Jonathan Williams applauded the project, highlighting both its economic and community impact. “The Town of Spencer and northern Rowan County are thrilled that Complete Well-Care Source, L.L.C. has selected Spencer to be the next home for its corporate headquarters and treatment facility,” Williams said. “This investment not only creates skilled jobs but also strengthens local access to urgently needed outpatient mental health and substance abuse services.”
“This new facility will not only provide essential services that improve and save lives, but it also represents a significant investment in our community,” said Greg Edds, chairman of the Rowan County Board of Commissioners. “We are proud to welcome these new jobs and improved health outcomes that will serve our citizens for years to come.”
Rowan EDC President Rod Crider added that “we are grateful for Complete Well-Care Source’s continued investment in Rowan County and know the community will benefit from the resources available at this new facility.”
Construction of the new headquarters positions Rowan County as a growing center for health services while expanding critical support for residents across the region.
