Festival of Trees Returns to F&M Trolley Barn, Bringing Holiday Cheer for a Cause

by | Sep 15, 2025 | Attractions

Trinity Living Center (TLC) will deck the halls of the F&M Trolley Barn once again this holiday season with its beloved Festival of Trees, happening Friday through Sunday, Nov. 28 through Nov. 30, 2025.

This free, family-friendly event will feature dozens of uniquely decorated Christmas trees sponsored by local organizations and individuals, transforming the historic Trolley Barn into a winter wonderland. All proceeds benefit Trinity Living Center, a not-for-profit adult day program serving seniors living with dementia and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“The Festival of Trees has quickly become one of our community’s favorite holiday traditions,” said TLC Executive Director Beth Huber. “It’s joyful, beautiful, and supports the vital services we provide to participants and their caregivers all year long.”

Festival hours are Friday, Nov. 28, from 1 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 30, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Visitors can vote for their favorite tree, enjoy refreshments, and meet Santa and Mrs. Claus during a special storytime from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Sponsors for this year’s event include Trinity Oaks, Novant Health, and Duke Energy. TLC also wishes to thank the Ryan Blaney Family Foundation for its in-kind support.
