Save the Date: Rowan County Car Shows

Here in Rowan County, North Carolina, we LOVE cars… this might have something to do with the fact we are close by the home of motorsports in neighboring Mooresville! This summer, there is a variety of different car shows to enjoy between the North Carolina Transportation Museum’s car show series and various local cruise-ins. You can attend them all or pick the ones that best suit your motorhead mood.

Join us at these upcoming car shows:

Aug. 5: Enjoy the Landis Classic Car Cruise In at N. Central Ave Landis, NC 28088 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. with food and music! This car show occurs on the first Friday of each month and features classic cars and trucks.

Aug. 6: The All Ford Show is one of the many car shows hosted by the North Carolina Transportation Museum located at 1 Samuel Spencer Dr, Spencer, NC 28159. The All Ford Show will take place from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. This is the museum’s largest car show and usually features over 100 cars!

Aug. 13: The All GM Show will take place at the North Carolina Transportation Museum located at 1 Samuel Spencer Dr, Spencer, NC 28159 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. This show will display a collection of Chevys, Buicks, GMCs, and Cadillacs.

Aug. 20: The All MOPAR Show will take place at the North Carolina Transportation Museum located at 1 Samuel Spencer Dr, Spencer, NC 28159 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. If you are a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, FIAT, or Mopar enthusiast, this one’s for you!

Aug. 20: Join China Grove at CruisIN the Grove located at 333 N Main St, China Grove, NC 28023 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. with food, music, and shopping! The CruisIN will take place on the third Saturday in April, June, August, and October.

Aug. 27: The Cruisin’ Spencer series located at 480 S. Salisbury Ave., Spencer, NC 28159 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. is another fun car show! The shows will occur on the fourth Saturday of every month from May through October.

Sept. 17: The Antique Automobile Club of America Car Show will take place at the North Carolina Transportation Museum located at 1 Samuel Spencer Dr, Spencer, NC 28159 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. This show will only feature AACA members’ vehicles of all makes and models.
