June is filled with events and fun arts-related opportunities for children and adults! Check out the dates and events below to find out what’s happening in Your Rowan this month and how you can get involved!
June 4th
4th Annual Arts & Ag
This year, Arts & Ag has 10 stops lined up for your self-guided experience! Start from any one of the following farm locations and make your way around the county, John Weddington Greenhouse, Goodman Farm Supply, China Grove Roller Mill, Main Street Market Place & Meeting Place, Ranchside Vet. Clinic, Patterson Farm, Inc. & Patterson Repack, Millbridge Elementary Outdoor Garden, Circle D Farm, L.L. Goodnight & Son’s & Goodnight’s Greenhouse & Douglas Vineyards!
Candlelight Orchestra: A Tribute to The Greatest Showman and More!
The candlelight orchestra will perform a tribute to The Greatest Showman and more at 4 p.m., 6 p.m., and 8 p.m. at the Piedmont Players Theatre in Downtown Salisbury. During the performance, you will see thousands of candles lighting the stage for this mesmerizing experience.
Dueling Pianos at Morgan Ridge Vineyards
Join Morgan Ridge Vineyards as they host Dueling Pianos from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Beer, wine, sangria, and food will be available. You can purchase tickets ahead of time or at the door!
Pops at the Post
Pops at the Post is a FREE community event that will feature the Salisbury Symphony. This fun-filled afternoon will include food, drinks, and of course MUSIC!
June 5th
Salisbury Pride Art Show
Join the Center for Faith & the Arts as they host the Salisbury Pride Art Show! Celebrate incredible artists in the LGBTQIA+ community. Light refreshments will be provided at the reception.
June 10th
Race to the Dan Revolutionary War Reenactment
The Revolutionary War is an essential part of our history, not only nationally, but locally. The Old Stone House will be hosting a reenactment June 10-12 where you will experience the events of 1781 and learn more about our history.
June 11th
Stories Under the Stars
Head over to the Kannapolis Library for a performing arts event as they host Stories Under the Stars. There are multiple events for this series, and each is a little different. Check out the library calendar for more information.
June 13th
Waterworks Summer ArtVentures Classes
Are you ready to get creative? Make your way to Waterworks this summer! They have week-long classes, and you can even become a member. The classes are designated by age group.

June 25th
Dancing on: Depot Street
Finally, Dancing on: Depot Street in Cleveland invites you to bring your lawn chairs, friends, and family for their monthly celebration with live music and food trucks! This month, the event will be hosted on Saturday, June 25th. Click here to find out more about individual events.
