Rowan County residents now have greater access to specialized care for complex hernias and abdominal wall conditions through the new Novant Health Abdominal Wall Reconstruction & Hernia Center in Salisbury.
Located at 911 W. Henderson Street, Suite 410, the center offers care for patients with first-time, recurrent and complex hernias, as well as those who may need abdominal wall reconstruction. The Salisbury clinic is part of a new Novant Health surgical program designed to provide advanced expertise, coordinated care and individualized treatment plans closer to patients in the region.

The Salisbury center is led by Dr. Vedra Augenstein, a board-certified general surgeon with more than 19 years of experience. She specializes in complex hernia repair and abdominal wall reconstruction, and is welcoming new patients at the Salisbury location.
